Fifteen minutes, measured in falling white sand. The frame is cast and engraved in an antique gilt finish, mounted so the whole glass turns in its cradle when you want to begin again.
Why it's worth giving
- A desk object that marks time without a screen, a chime or a notification.
- The rotating cradle means one hand starts it — no lifting, no turning it upside down.
- Engraved scrollwork on the frame and a weighted, footed base that sits still on a desk or mantel.
- Fifteen minutes is a working interval: one focused stretch, one pot of tea, one chapter.
- Arrives as a finished ornament, ready to place.

For the desk of someone who works in stretches rather than sprints — a birthday, a new office, or a house that has just become home.
