Rafa The product arrived packaged in a nice box. The cup is awesome , the horse walks when moving the cup. For a better experience I need to move the cup slowly.

Asunaro My mother loved it! Great birthday present!

lady g. My horse-loving, artist friend, who is interested in science, loves it. One gift that touches all her areas of interest including afternoon tea is the perfect gift. It is well made. The art isn’t tacky. It is elegant.

Amazon C. Bought these for a Christmas present, and the only problem with them is that everyone who saw me unbox it wants one also.

Elisa Pretty and whimsical. Pricy, but good quality

Michael F.A. Amazing way to craft aspects of food and art when enjoying a cup of beverage and entertaining graphics that keep you focus
J
Jason The design doesn’t move unless you move the saucer, it looks like the mug but it’s aLittle awkward

Jennifer C. My Aunt loved this conversation piece. The art and craftsmanship that goes into this piece is mind blowing. I would highly recommend to family and friends as a unique gift.

ellafont This is beyond cool. I don't care what any other reviewer says, it is NOT that hard to create the galloping horse illusion by gently rotating the cup on the saucer, you just need to adjust the speed of rotation or your angle of viewing if you're not seeing it happen.I got the horse one because it reminded me of Muybridge's earliest film/motion tests of a galloping horse and then was delighted to read in the enclosed pamphlet that Muybridge was actually the artist's inspiration.I bought the original of this mug rather than a knock-off, even though it is REALLY EXPENSIVE, because original artists deserve to be supported and the amount of testing and research that went into this must have been phenomenal. It is not a cheap trick! Who cares if you have to hand wash it? Who cares if you can't microwave it? I could not be happier with this, and I have a collection of other illusion types of teacups and mugs, too.I highly recommend this as a gift for any cinematographer, animator, or film historian in your life - they will truly appreciate it.

aprial I bought this jumping cat cup as a gift and she absolutely loved it! It looks and feel very nice.

Lisa I bought this and two others as a late Christmas gift. I got to open each box to ensure no chips, cracks, (basically nit-picking) or any flaws on the cup and plate: NONE. I could not express how just several lines on the dish made an impact on the reflectiononto the cup. The cup and plate were perfectly made themselves; but that added motion of the “running cat”, “flying bird”, and “running horse” is the BIG bonus. I really do suggest to anyone to purchase at least one of the sets. I will be buying some for myself in the future. Thank You to the Artist~

She My boss loved her gift for morning office coffee or tea. Getting to watch her spin the cup around to watch the horse run was fun and I see her sitting there contemplating work and spinning it to move the horse :) fun gift for sure

Michael A. The design is beautiful and it is quality crafted. It is packaged in such a way to make it feel special. It was purchased as a gift and it is worthy of it.

James The media could not be loaded.
Delivered on time and they’re the originals, not the copies. My sons can not wait for Mother’s Day to give them to my wife.

captain m. I’ve always loved zoetropes, and even did some animation myself, so this is an interesting twist. Alas, it’s much too expensive to actually use as a daily mug, and with the gold paint without overglaze, it’s not dishwasher safe and definitely never allowed in the microwave oven. If the price were <€35 and the paint had an overglaze, it would be a Must Have, but at €200 each For an extremely fragile and delicate “art” item like this!?! :-o. Nope.
